Abstract
PIP: This paper reviews all medical practices related to contraception, abortion, delivery, and lactation, and emphasizes their essentially aggressive and dehumanizing characteristics. Not only are mechanical methods of contraception aggressive, but natural methods as well, beginning with periodic abnstinence, which obliges the couple to an innatural behavior, and ending with prolonged lactation which can provoke secondary hypopituitarism. Surgical contraception, and especially vasectomy, is even more aggressive than hormonal contraception, which interferes with the proper functions of at least 40 organs. The aggressiveness of interception, opposed by the author to contraception is best exemplified by induced abortion and by its many complications. Aggressiveness during pregnancy is exemplified by the use of the IUD, which terminates an already established pregnancy. Aggressiveness during delivery is exemplified by the overuse of the forceps and the suction cup, by the use of analgesia, and even of total anesthesia. Aggressiveness toward the baby during lactation is done by the mother herself by feeding the baby with maternal milk unwillingly polluted by the environment or by an inappropriate diet. The author concedes that medical aggressiveness can at times have positive effects, which are not investigated in the article.
