The use of drugs in pregnancy and labour
Abstract
The possibility of harmful effects from drug therapy during pregnancy should be constantly before the clinican. The ability of drugs to pass from mother to babe through the placenta must be remembered as errors in the administration of drugs during pregnancy can have disastrous consequences for the mother and/or baby.
