Abstract

A case of asymptomatic convexity meningioma causing intracerebral hemorrhage and with an aneurysm of the branch of the middle cerebral artery is reported. Operation disclosed an encapsulated tumor of 4 cm in diameter and intracerebral hemorrhage was found medial to it. Histological diagnosis of the tumor was a malignant meningioma. The mechanism of hemorrhage and the relation between the tumor and occurrence of an aneurysm have been discussed with a review of the literature.
