The future of research utilization
Abstract
The need for utilization of scientifically based knowledge in clinical practice was recognized long ago. This article discusses the future of research utilization in nursing, emphasizing the role of nurse administrators, health care organizations, educational programs, and professional organizations. A futuristic view of research utilization is presented.
