Abstract

The authors present a statistical record of the complications encountered in the use of 151 Goode transtympanic aerators used in their department between 1981 and 1991. The frequency of the problems encountered, in particular residual tympanic perforations, is discussed in detail, to assess the soundness of the various indications.
