[A case of sudden death among fattening pigs]
Abstract
The sudden death of fattening pigs weighing about 60 kg is described. The animals had not previously shown signs of illness. Fusarium toxins were detected in the feed, albeit in small amounts. Mycotoxins are probably the cause of death.
