Abstract

An infant with erythematous rash born from a mother with silicone breast implants is described. The diagnosis of possible neonatal lupus was suggested based on the presence of the skin rash and positive Ro/SS-A antibodies in the infant and positive ANA and Ro/SS-A in the mother.
