Ethical issues in doctor-patient sexual relationships
Abstract
The clinical and ethical issues involved in sexual relationships between psychiatrists and patients, former patients, patients' relatives, and supervisees are reviewed. Case vignettes are presented to amplify the discussion. Risk prevention and response of the American Psychiatric Association are discussed.
