[Bibliography. Writing rules for references]

Abstract

Scientific authors and editors have some years ago established some international rules concerning the presentation of the references. This paper describes the principles of these rules and gives explanations for their use, particularly in the most common types of publication: journal articles, books, book chapters, theses, and abstracts in conference proceedings.
