The arts and humanities: a creative approach to developing nurse leaders
Abstract
There are many ways by which leadership skills can be developed, but an effective approach that is rarely considered by educators, administrators, or individuals is the use of the arts and humanities. The article explores the nature of leadership and ways to develop leadership skills. It then examines how the humanities relate to leadership development and provides specific examples of arts and humanities that individuals can use in their quest to evolve as effective leaders.
