Cushing's syndrome. Therapy directed at the adrenal glands
Abstract
Establishing the exact etiologic diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome is fundamental to the management of the disease. It allows for specific therapy, such as pituitary microsurgery. In cases where the adrenal gland is the cause, treatment can be either surgical or medical. This article explores both types of treatment and their respective results.
