Electrodiagnosis. An overview
Abstract
Electrodiagnostic consultation is a highly sensitive mechanism for the podiatrist to obtain functional information about the peripheral nervous system in the lower extremity. This article discusses the basic components of the electrodiagnostic consultation and the information that can be obtained through this testing. Additionally, it provides the podiatrist with guidelines for requesting consultation and interpreting the results.
