[The Balint group: analysis of the physician-patient relationship. A medical discussion in the group]

Abstract

It is given a short introduction about the method of the work of Balint-groups. The importance of this method for the graduate medical education and further medical development is described. The differentiation between psychotherapeutical supervision groups and the discussion of cases in general are illustrated. Michael Balint is introduced.
