[Rectal neoplasia during pregnancy and the puerperium: report of 3 cases and review of the literature]
Abstract
Three cases of rectal carcinoma associated with pregnancy led the authors to review the general literature. The lesion is most often an adenocarcinoma, diagnosed late at an advanced stage of progression in young women. Results of treatment are poor and the outcome fatal.
