Central venous thrombosis following central venous catheterisation and parenteral nutrition: case report

A case is presented in which bilateral subclavian, brachiocephalic, and superior vena cava thrombosis occurred associated with central venous catheterisation and parenteral nutrition. Streptokinase therapy followed by heparinisation resulted in successful clinical resolution.
