Abstract

For 74 years the Norwell Visiting Nurse Association has provided home health care, public health, and community services to the 27,000 residents of Norwell and Scituate, in Massachusetts. This article explores the history of this nurse-managed, nonprofit, free-standing visiting nurse association.
