[Intraosseous ganglion of the scaphoid bone--a case report]
Abstract
This is a case report of a 21-year-old male who suffered from wrist pain. X-rays showed a bone cyst of the scaphoid. Intraoperatively, an intraosseous ganglion of the scaphoid with articular communication was found. Symptoms and clinical characteristics of the intraosseous ganglion are discussed and recent literature reviewed.
