Abstract

The human genomic YAC (Yeast Artificial Chromosome) library was constructed with human white blood cell and the cell line GM1 414 containing 4 X chromosome DNA using pYAC 4 as vector. Twenty thousand YAC clones were obtained with insert size of 400-1000kb. A set of YACs containing entire DMD geneDNA sequence were selected.
