Hysteroscopic metroplasty for septate uterus

Abstract

Reproductive results in women with a septate uterus include increased incidence of spontaneous abortion, premature birth, and abnormal fetal presentations. Septate uterus is seen most often in women with reproductive wastage. This article discusses the diagnosis, indications for surgery, surgical technique, results, and complications for treating patients with a septate uterus.
