Abstract

The differences in patient length of stay and quality indicators pre and post-implementation of a nursing partnership model were examined. Findings indicated no significant difference in length of stay, infection rates, medication or procedural errors, but significantly less falls after implementation. Length of stay decreased by 0.7 days.
