[Hypersenitivity reaction in connection with radiographic examination using barium sulfate]
Abstract
A case is reported where a 25-year-old man had a hypersensitivity reaction on two separate occasions 1 1/2 months apart following radiographic examination using a barium sulphate suspension as gastro-intestinal contrast medium. Possible factors contributing to the reaction are discussed.
