Abstract
This century has seen a dramatic increase in the modalities available to prevent, control, or cure cancer. Dr. Rosenthal, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, reflects on the progress in cancer management made in the 20th century and predicts a continuing rapid evolution for the 21st century.
