Abstract

Amblyopia and strabismus are the most common ocular conditions occurring during childhood. Amblyopia is the leading cause of vision loss in childhood. Strabismus is a significant cause of ocular morbidity leading to amblyopia and psychosocial distress in childhood and into adulthood.
