Laser applications in otolaryngology. Conclusion and future outlook

Abstract
The field of medicine has embraced and utilized many advanced technologies. The use of the laser will continue to be important as computer assisted surgery and robotics are used in conjunction with lasers to improve patient care. This concluding article reviews the laser and present scenarios for possible future surgical procedures with the laser.
