Abstract

Basaloid squamous-cell carcinoma of the head and neck is a variant of epidermoid carcinoma which has an affinity for the hypopharynx, base of the tongue, tonsils, and larynx. A case of basaloid carcinoma of the larynx is reported and its clinical features, differential diagnosis, and treatment are reviewed.
