Abstract

In this communication a rapid and simple enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay is described, suitable for the investigation of bacterial surface proteins. The protocol uses whole cells and avoids any centrifugation or cross-linking steps. Less than 10(6) cells were detected by this procedure.
