Abstract

This paper describes a new species of trypanosome, Trypanosoma (Megatrypanum) heliosciuri, from Heliosciurus gambianus gambianus, and gives a detailed description of T. (Herpetosoma) xeri Leger and Baury 1922, from Euxerus erythropus erythropus, all from Senegal, West Africa.
