[The isolation of plasma membrane fractions from the enterocytes of the small intestine in animals of different ages]
Abstract
The described methodical conditions of obtaining apical and basolateral membranes from the suspension of isolated small intestine epithelial cells of cattle, that are more effective, in comparison with mucous membrane scrapings by certain criteria (material output, purity level, presence of pollution, vesiculosity and orientation of vesicles). It is determined, that apical and basolateral membranes of newborn animals have their specific features as to the amount of protein, pollution, purification in comparison with the mature animals. For several biochemical features the fractions of apical and basolateral membranes of enterocytes of the small intestine in mature and newborn animals might be recommended for the investigations of different biochemical processes, including the norm and pathology of the digestive tract.
