The role of exercise in the prevention and management of acute low back pain
Abstract
This chapter describes the treatment guidelines for acute low back pain that were established by the Agency for Health Care Policy Research and analyzes some of the current literature on the topic. The conclusion is drawn that rehabilitation and conditioning exercises in patients with low back pain can be beneficial.
