Should there be an accredited ethics committee system for centralised review of multicentre clinical research?
Abstract
Australia's current decentralised system of institutional ethics committees has disadvantages for multicentre trials and for private clinicians who wish to undertake research. This article proposes a potential remedy for this situation.
