[Clinical and occupational prognosis in myocardial infarction patients which were on different activation regimens and stayed in hospital for different time]
Abstract
Two groups of patients with Q and non-Q myocardial infarction were compared: 105 patients who underwent early activization and were discharged early and 82 patients treated according to the routine 3-5-week program. The activization implied physical rehabilitation which took 2 times less time than the standard one. It is shown that disability of patients rehabilitated for shorter period of time was significantly shorter. The criteria allowing shorter hospitalization for myocardial infarction patients are proposed.
