Abstract

The article is the review of the literature data concerning the molecular mechanism of action of corticosteroids in bronchial asthma and related diseases. Extensive research has led to the detailed understanding of the mechanisms underlying the cellular actions of steroids, their interactions with beta 2-agonists and reasons of steroid resistance.
