Umbilical endometrioma (silent type)

Abstract

Umbilical endometrioma is an uncommon entity and is rarely asymptomatic. A 24-year old black woman had an asymptomatic, spontaneous umbilical endometrioma. The lesion was excised and the diagnosis was histologically confirmed.
